TECHNOLOGY ALGORITHMIC ANALYSIS OF ORGANISING THE CULTURAL PROCESS

Keywords: algorithmic creativity, cultural process, technology, cultural practices, artificial intelligence, machine learning.

Abstract

The aim of the article is to study the phenomenon of «algorithmic creativity» in the context of a comparative analysis of human («live») and mechanised («artificial») activities.

The research methodology is based on a comparative analysis of human activity and a mechanised process, which is now often referred to as «algorithmic creativity». The theoretical and methodological foundations are constructivist observations of technological imitation of human activity in the context of the experience of using «artificial intelligence».
Results. The issue of the technological singularity, according to which technological development will become uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in radical changes in the nature of human civilisation, is correlated with the further analysis of the phenomenon of «algorithmic creativity». From a technical point of view, creativity organised through the use of artificial intelligence involves the use of algorithms to create new aesthetic products. The use of neural networks in artistic culture raises the question of the role of technology in creative expression, as well as raises the issue of ownership, authenticity and authorship.
Scientific novelty. The study made it possible to formulate the concept of «algorithmic creativity» as a process of organising artistic creativity through the functioning of «machine learning». Algorithmic creativity is in fact a kind of mechanised production process organised with due regard for the peculiarities of machine learning and the identified signs of stylistic imitation of traditional practices.
The practical significance. The information contained in this article may be useful for Ukrainian educators to develop a new strategy for organising the process of lean culture formation.
