CREATIVE HERITAGE OF THE A-STUDIO GROUP IN THE CONTEXT OF NATIONAL VARIETY ART OF KAZAKHSTAN
Abstract
The musical art of the late 20 th – early 21 st centuries was marked by the extraordinary popularity of pop performance as a phenomenon of modern mass culture. Being an integral part of the information field of television and radio, the pop genre attracts the attention of not only a wide audience of different age categories, but also art scholars. The topic of this study was the creativity of the Kazakh group «A-studio» in the context of pop performance at the turn of the 20 th–21 st centuries. The goal is to study the creative heritage of the «A-studio» group as a phenomenon of modern pop culture in the post-Soviet space. The research methodology involves a combination of historical, cultural, analytical, empirical methods, as well as the use of musical theoretical and performance analysis to record, classify and generalize research materials. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that the creativity of Kazakh pop performers, using the example of the popular group «A-Studio», is for the first time considered as a phenomenon of postmodern musical culture. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the creative heritage of the Kazakh group «A-Studio» presents a new artistic interpretation of vocal and instrumental works, creates unique examples of Kazakh musical art, synthesizing national traditions and modern trends in mass culture, which confirms the important role of the A-Studio group in Kazakh music as representatives of pop performing art at the turn of the 20 th–21 st centuries. The practical significance. The results of the research spread knowledge in the field of Kazakh musical art of the modern period and can be used as a basis for new art studies.
